Same thing with Haggerty. I raised it this year from $13,000 to 25,000 no questions asked. Initially you send them a few pictures and that's it. There has been some debate on mileage limits with Haggery on the Vintage Mustang Forums but I have no limits and a number of other people on the...

That's great!! Nice job!! I particularly liked this part... "The GT/CS has become one of the most owner-appreciated classic Mustangs, since it has both the qualities of a Shelby GT, and a Mustang coupe. " So true!

Maybe that's their view. If we do nothing and it "goes away" it's done and we're not out the $3,000. If we lose then we have to give him the part. They're really not out $3,000 but their profit on the item. Maybe their view is "Take the chance that it "goes away"". Or their attorneys...

Congratulations!! Well deserved!!

Curious to get thoughts here on this. Found this on the VMF site. Apparently Perogie Enterprises out of NJ, listed a fold down rear seat worth $2,000-3000 with a BIN of $45. This guy is trying to get the item for $45. Either they listed it incorrectly or it was a fake/scam auction. The...

Funny but sounded a bit "staged" to me .. I don't know why. It's authenticity is undetermined on Snopes http://www.snopes.com/autos/mishaps/beating.asp

Wow ... things like this really make me feel I got my CS for a decent price just over a year ago.

Hey there's a car on eBay being discussed in another thread. Mid February build and also Basic Off - Standard Equipment car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-C-A-special-1968-FORD-MUSTANG-CALIFORNIA-SPECIAL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6236QQihZ017QQitemZ270050346979QQrdZ1

Hey Steve, That's pretty wild that both our cars started with a Phoenix DSO and both ended up in Long Island! What are the chances of that? Rich

There's that Black Paint Stripe option again!

Hey Rich! Yes I did get in touch with them. I dropped them an email over the weekend. I didn't realize they were open Sat and Sun. Initial reply looks good, it seems they will cover my 96. They said NY state is one of the places they are allowed to write those type of policies. My usage seems to...

I got the same impression.

I was just going to post the same message ... those 2 words are important. A pair of NOS Lucas square 8 black backed fog lamps in boxes. Excellent condition. Complete with covers. Shipping to USA: $46  Guess I shouldn't try to browse eBay while working and pay attention to one or the...

See that's why we have the experts on this site  Missed that one! Good catch!!! What do you think these should go for then out of curiosity? R

Good info Steve. Thanks!

I don't know if I would buy it for $820! If I did I'd paint it  I don't know - maybe it's just me but ... It just doesn't look right. Explaining my CS isn't a Shelby wannabe to people is one thing ... but this ... I don't know ... The same seller has a nice 74 TransAm for around $28,000...

Welcome to the site John!! You bought your 07 CS as a Winter car? It's true the SUV is dead!!

Welcome Home Doug!! Was thinking of you recently, glad you're safe and Thank You!

Hey Steve I didn't know your came from Long Island! Mine lived almost all it's life on Long Island. The 3 previous owners all lived on Long Island. Original owner drove it from Arizona to LI, sold it to someone in Sayerville, LI and 2 years later in 89, the 3rd owner bought it on LI.
