Here is a photo of the replacement bulbs I found in a local auto parts store.

. another chapter in the engine puke saga

Another good thing to do with a newly rebuilt engine is to remove the block drains and flush the engine. If I remember correctly the drains are immediately in front of the motor mounts.

    No, it's a C-code so it's not a GT.

    Another Bad Idea?

Wow! Looks a little like Tim's/Mike's car many years ago. Doesn't the first photo look like the side of a Ford Fairmont?

1968 Use of Lead instead of Bondo

Existing lead is not a big deal. Filler sticks to it just fine so if there is no rust under the lead (no bubbles) I suggest leaving it alone.

For Sale Red GT/CS in California

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure non-GT J-codes came with single exhaust. In fact, I think we have a recent thread about this subject. ETA Here it is. http://californiaspecial.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11437&highlight=dual+exhaust

For Sale Red GT/CS in California

This car is a J-code, so it would have the 4300 4V, but since it's not a GT it had the single exhaust. Mike has the Marti for the car and IMO it's an original. If you want some trivia for your car it's one of the few California Specials that were built at the same time as the High Country...

If you PM Mike or me with the VIN we can check our files to see if we have a copy of the Marti report.

    1968 Sequential Turn Signal Kit

That looks like the basic Mustang Project system. If I remember correctly there is no underdash wiring, other than replacing your flasher with their flasher.

    1968 Sequential Turn Signal Kit

Yes, I'm pretty sure the T-bird use the same system like that used on Cougars.

Do the dynamite sticks require cutting the harness? Never mind. If I'd gone to the site I would have seen that the harness does not need to be cut. Here is the Mustang Project kit. http://www.mustangproject.com/ProductDisplay.aspx?ID=08972273-67dc-4265-8013-1116b3789625
