    1968 Brake Line leak

Line wrenches, aka flare nut wrenches, are a great investment. Of course, if the fitting is already rounded your only options are probably Vice Grips or a hack saw.

Can you remove the entire thing so you can work on a bench or is it stuck in the car?

    Day 1......730 miles

Something I've noticed over the years of road trips is that shoe type makes a huge difference in comfort after a few hundred miles. My right heel hurts if I wear shoes with inadequate heel support. I actually find cowboy boots the most comfortable, because of the big solid heel, but those...

    Pet Thread

This site is always cars, cars, cars, so how about showing off your pets? The American Dingo (Carolina Dog) is Nani, and the Terror is Max. Max was half dead and covered in fleas when he walked into my engine builder's shop. When I picked up the engine I took Max with me. Rescued Nani from the...

    1968 gas in trunk?

I've never had a problem pumping my own gas in Oregon. When the attendants see the car and get the if-you-spill-gas-on-my-car-I'll-kill-you look they are usually quite happy to let me fill the tank.

    Day 1......730 miles

Wow, that's a long day!! I usually limit myself to around 600 miles per day and that wears me out. I can't imagine going 730 miles.

    1968 Deluxe interior question

No, those are some sort of aftermarket product. Marty knows more than I when it comes to such things but I think the only real difference between the standard and deluxe panels is at the top corner. The deluxe panels have a little indentation for a cap that is used to secure the vinyl...

    1968 Seat Belt Dye

Yes, the webbing. I scrubbed the shoulder belts and they seem to have been blue at one time. Has anyone used this stuff? http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Spray-Upholstery-Fabric-Paint/dp/B005ZU40KG

    2013 Camaro/Trans Am

Someone converted a 2013 Camaro into a late '70s Trans Am. http://mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?lot_id=DA0914-193694 I guess my first question is, "Why?" Turning a '76 Datsun into a Ferrari GTO is a much better idea! http://mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?lot_id=CA0814-190093...

    1968 Deluxe interior question

Most Mustang parts vendors carry the padding and the vinyl. Here is a link to the vinyl from Laurel Mountain. http://www.laurelmountainmustang.com/products/1964-1968-mustang-coupe-quarter-trim-upholstery?gclid=CITN8NL09L8CFU4F7AodKUEApQ Please note that the metal rear trim panels are different...
