More Scott Drake Chinese-made junk reproduction parts. The bolt holes on the new regulator are roughly 3/8" too close together. The tape is cutting 10" so the bolt hole dimensions are roughly 9 13/16" for the new regulator and 10 3/16" for the old one.

I've had the pleasure of seeing this car a couple times on my trips to Washington, and from what I've seen it's a bargain at $25,000. This car is gorgeous and I'm surprised that's all he's asking for it. My car looked like a wrecking yard reject compared to this beauty.

It's on the rear of the instrument cluster. It's a little metal box just above the speedometer cable input. Using that as a power source is a great idea, just make sure you hook up to the correct side!

I think it's the threads for one of the little lens screws that's stripped, not the large mounting screw.
