The rest of the day was spent shortening the front springs on the J-code, changing the rear stripe on the J-code (thanks Neil), and changing the black stripes to white on the C-code. There's nothing like a rainy day to get some car chores done.

It's raining today so I figured it would be a good day to replace the exhaust manifold on the C-code. I had noticed that the front bolt hole was broken and I could hear a little exhaust leak so I assumed the manifold was leaking near that bolt hole. I was wrong!:eek:

It's a short drive for me so I'll probably go to it, as a visitor, not a participant.

I'm not bidding on it and I don't have the Marti yet. I expect to have it by Tuesday.

There seems to be some serious rust on this car. The bottom of one door looks like it's held together with the paint, the other door has a huge rust pocket, and one C-pillar has what the seller calls, "Typical Mustang Rust". Be sure to check the floors and frame.
