To be factory-correct the tail light panel should be painted the same color as the rest of the body. It should not be painted the Shelby argent (silver) color. The tail light bezels (doors) should be all chrome with no black edges. The photo on the left is of a correct setup.

I stand corrected; there is no debate. So the only cars with black paint on the tail light doors are the T-Birds and the '69 and '70 Shelbys.

Don't know how many miles it had on it. It is a '66 engine. My guess it that it had been pulled out of a car a long time ago and was sitting around in a shop for years. When the owner of the CS needed to replace its engine they probably took the '66 engine, threw in a couple rod bearings...
