Tuning issue on the CS 347

Jeff, I'm not much of a mechanic but the 12.5:1 compression sure piqued my interest. Compression that high may require timing and carb settings that are quite different from normal engines. Sorry, I meant 10.5:1.

Would you like to have your Gt/CS restored to Concourse Trailered condition?

Seals are a big problem for cars that are not driven, but if one never puts fluids in the car dried seals really don't matter.

Do I Really Have a HCS?

It would be good to find the VIN somewhere on the car. It is also stamped on the tops of the inner fenders. I don't remember if '67s had each inner fender stamped or just one of them. Driver's door, dash, and inner fenders are the only VIN locales I know of (other than the engine and...

Do I Really Have a HCS?

Hi Karen, Just a few questions to help you in your quest. If there is no data plate on the door where did you get the VIN to order the Marti report? Is there a VIN plate on top of the dash, near the defroster duct, on the passenger side? Here is a picture showing where the data plate should...

Hmmmm, I think I have that CD. I'll listen to it again. Also in the country theme I have added "Southbound" by Sammy Kershaw, "Speed" by Montgomery Gentry, "Carlene" by Phil Vassar, "South December Road", by Gary Morris (the country opera singer), and dozens of songs by Restless Heart, Sawyer...

    Restomod Clone

You're right Rhonda, it does look like a Shelby coupe. Sort of a purple Little red. I probably shouldn't have called it a "clone". I like it, though, and I appreciate the owner using a standard coupe instead of using a GT/CS or HCS for his restomod.

    Bumper

A Mustang restorer I spoke to in Houston told me that the repro bumpers are different than the original Ford bumpers in that the repros do not have the ridge running down the center top surface of the bumper. I just looked at my original Ford bumper and he's right the top face is not flat. It...

    May 19, 2007 - Mustang & All Ford Show - Beaumont, TX

I think the cemetery is called Forest Lawn. It's across the street from the country club, in the North part of town, I think. And, well, since you asked......attached is an artist's rendition of the entire mausoleum complex. As far as I know only the left side has been built so far.
