    Original big block verses non-original

I agree with Jason to a point. I think a converted car will be about half, or less, than the value of a true R-code but I also believe that a big block restomod (like an Eleanor) will be worth more than a pure GT/CS with a transplanted 428. I don't like it but I believe it to be true. As has...

need some assistance about my new 68GT/CS

Normally, an unrestored dented up GT/CS isn't worth much. If you keep the car do you want to drive it, show it, or both?

    HOLY SMOKES! $39,000 GT/CS

Has anyone ever inquired about this car to see if it is still for sale? It's been on the web for a long, long time. Most of these car sale web-sites are notorious for leaving cars on long after they've been sold.

    Wrecked R-code Fastback on eBay

Amazing. It's up to $9,900 and the reserve hasn't been met. I don't know which amazes me more, the fact that someone bid almost $10,000 for it or that the reserve hasn't been met at that price.

    Tach Option

Here is another option for those who want a tach(or other gauges) in their GT/CS. These pillar post pads are always on eBay. Don't know anything about the seller but it seems like the prices have come down recently...

Just a thought on how to improve some of our exposure and maybe our pockets...

Re:Just a thought on how to improve some of our exposure and maybe our pockets.. It's such a cynical world in which we live. Jason, is this $6,000 paint job on your $20,000 Mustang or your $120,000 Mercedes? How and why would someone key the car in a Ford dealer's showroom? Are there...

Just a thought on how to improve some of our exposure and maybe our pockets...

Re:Just a thought on how to improve some of our exposure and maybe our pockets.. Just write up a simple agreement that forces the dealership to fix any damage or wear. It should also say that the dealership must wash, wax, and detail the car before it is returned to you. Don't forget to write...

    Another one gets away ...

There are also Laurel Mountain Mustang and Delta Bay mustang. Delta bay makes a nice set of Marchal foglight brackets. Another supplier we keep talking about but no one seems to have used yet is Rebel Mustang. They make, what appears to be, very high quality fiberglass parts.
