This one really bugs me. It has the correct grill and foglights but also has the running horse emblem on the fender. On the other hand the hood holes look correct. I wish we could see the driver side front fender to see if it also has a running horse. If it is real, and it has both running...

I think we all agree that MUSTANG is correct in that fact that totally restoring these cars is not a real good short term investment right now. Long term may be a different story, though. That's probably not a shock to anyone performing a total restoration. We ran the numbers a few months ago...

MUSTANG, I once took a course called, "Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact". Apparently it didn't do me any good but it might help you.

My old GT/CS had a big "302" in the oil galley but the engine VIN matched the door VIN so I knew the engine had to be a 289. The whole thing never made sense and has probably haunted me all these years. Thanks Don, I'll sleep better tonight.

The market is the market and right now I don't think there is a market for this car at $23,000. I hope I'm wrong especially since I've been one of the loudest voices saying that GT/CSs are grossly undervalued. As much as it annoys us and baffles us there just does not seem to be a strong...

Just curious, did you ever find a GT/CS or are you still looking?

Is that the same hood scoop that was on the '68 Torinos and '69 Mach 1s?
