For Sale Red GTCS in Illinois C150310

I couldn't/wouldn't say. It looks immaculate, and a potential buyer may well be satisfied with the 3 speed tranny & 289. It IS a beauty. Neil

1968 What has been the hardest part to get for your GT/CS ?

Delta Bay makes the Marchal brackets. You have to modify a '67 grill. Neil

    1968 Door lock dilemma

Well, obviously the locks were replaced on my Black CS, but I do like the configuration of one key for the external locks ( trunk & doors) and one key for the ignition. But that's just me. :-) Neil

    1968 Door lock dilemma

I re-read your posts and edited my response. If I understand correctly, the Ignition key works in the Ignition Switch. And you don't have a second key for the trunk & doors. IIRC, the normal configuration for these cars is a key for the ignition and a separate key that opens the trunk & doors...

    1968 LED turn and DRLs

I was confused by the description/terminology for a minute. I refer to them as Marker lights (lower side of front fenders) and Turn Signal lights (on the front valance). Terminology aside, its just bulb replacement AND Flasher replacement (due to the lower current draw of the LED's in the front...

    1968 Mini tach wiring

I don't recognize your Tach compared to the Retrogauge Tach from the Rocketman. I have a new 8 Cyl Tach (in the box) from Rocketman and it only has 3 connections, +, -, and signal (from the coil). Do you know who manufactured the one you have? Neil

    1968 LED turn and DRLs

For the tail/stop lights I highly recommend West Coast Classic Cougar's Plasma L.E.D bulbs. Super bright, direct replacement for 1157 bulbs. Neil

Well, I've registered my Black GT/CS for the MCA 45th Anniversary Show in April, Braselton, GA. Car is registered, hotel (La Quinta) reservation done. It's only a 2 hour drive for me from NC. Neil

    1968 Disc brake conversion

I added a PB booster on a '68 Mustang drum brake car. Worked great, at a fraction of the disc conversion cost. NPD sells it. $300+/-. Here's a photo of the brake job I did on that car. Neil

I think I can help with the heater panel & door handles. I'll verify tomorrow and let you know. Also, outside door handles? Instr bezel? Dash pad (repro)? Gas cap? Neil
