There are a couple of options. 1.) Vintage Air sells a kit for non A/C cars utilizing the existing heater box unit and adding the evaporator unit, plus controls. About $1500+/-. 2.) I have enough spare parts for the factory style (evaporator/heater core box), some dash vents, and control panel...

Paul Newitt's books show the measurements/dimensions for installing the stripes. I'll look up the supplier I used and send it to you. The kit was perfect and reasonably priced. They can do any color you wish. Neil

I send out body/paint. Everything else, I do. If you have a shop restore the car, then you will spend $40K to $50K for a $30K car. Neil

Quality body & paint= $8K to 10K Interior= $1,200 Resurect A/C= $950 Suspension= $600+/- Unknowns (brakes, engine, clutch/transmission, gas tank, lights, etc.= $2,000. If you do MOST of the work yourself, You'd then have a $30K GT/CS. Ask me how I know: Neil

$14K tops IMHO, depending on any rust under the vinyl top that's loose. It needs everything. Neil

I prefer running stock suspension configuration. Cutting or torching coil springs gives me severe heartburn:icon_dead. I've found stock ride height (27" from the ground to the apex of the fender opening) satisfying. Check yours and see what the height is (front & rear fenders). Neil

It costs me about $20K+ to restore a GT/CS, and I do most of the work myself, so I don't have the financial burden of shop costs. A quality paint job, which I have a professional do (strip, repair, paint) costs about $12K. I do all the mechanical & electrical myself which includes all new...

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I see an easy $15K to $18K to make it a $35K GT/CS. Been there, done that. Neil

Not for me. I like bright headlights, but the halos are a distraction. (Shouldn't the Turn Signal lights be Amber?) Neil

We had a great time at the MCA show in Georgia. Met up with Marty Rupp and saw lots of great Mustangs, old & new. Neil
