For Sale Seafoam GT/CS in Reno

That is a lot of money for a modified car. I would buy a darn nice 1968 GT/CS, painted a different color, with stripes, and hood that closes properly. With the left over money, I could additionally buy a brand new 2016 Mustang GT with all the goodies.

    Next Round for Wive's GT/CS

Do modifications as you see fit. Anything could technically be undone at a later date. Some folks call these kind of modifications, 'day two, changes'. i.e. Cragars, headers, and Kraco stereo systems. My GT/CS is a 302-4V with automatic, I am satisfied with that. However, if the car happened...

    Next Round for Wive's GT/CS

Cut out, and reinstall your stamped VIN number onto that new apron. What transmission? AOD, T-5, T-56, C-4? Makes a big difference on your axle ratio choice. I am not a fan of 2 chamber turbo mufflers. Had a radiator guy tell me that cross flow radiators are the most efficient. Might want to...

1968 New Matchbox GTCS Color ...

For you, the ultimate GT/CS would have been one build on 04E, or May 4th, 1968. Am I right?

    Another Bad Idea?

Looks like two, Fiber Fab front ends. Wonder if the owner is setting it up, to make a run at Bonneville?

1968 New Matchbox GTCS Color ...

The first time I saw this commercial, I thought, that looks like Tim's car. Not a GT/CS though. http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7ig0/forge-of-empires-stone-age-to-modernity

    Holley to acquire MSD

Holley was headed towards bankruptcy back in 2010. I'm glad they got out of that.

    1968 Door data plate

Those tags are easy to remove, I have literally removed 100's of them. I use a thin screw driver with a round shaft. Stab it in the middle of the rivet, and waller it around until the rivet falls out. Easy peasy.

    1968 Door data plate

I totally agree with you. My Acapulco Blue GT/CS will have a door tag accurately identifying it as Meadow Lark Yellar.

    1968 Door data plate

Nor would the majority of Mustang owners know the various color and interior codes for any given year without a reference. Fake is a strong word, lets leave it at reproduction.

    1968 Door data plate

Kevin does a great job on the reproduction door data plate tags. But they are clearly reproductions. I don't believe that he has all of the dies to make them just like the originals. Check out these 1968 versions from Dearborn. Two styles of type size, and light and heavy. There had to be...

For Sale Barn Find GT/CS in KC

That looks like a 1970's NOX device added during the early smog testing years in California. It is unusual to see an original Thermactor smog system intact like that. Thanks for posting Arlie.

    1968 quick question

Has anyone added a stealth relay for the fog lights? Meaning no extra wires visible? My car is all in pieces, seems like a good idea?

    1968 302 4V exhaust manifolds ??

A 1969 351W-4V H-pipe, will almost bolt onto a 302 engine. Due to the shorter deck height of the 289/302 engines, an 351W-4V H-pipe will be too wide at the collectors to just bolt onto the cylinder heads. Been there done that, squeezed the collector ends on my used 1969 351W-4V H-pipe together...
