Carroll Shelby may have had something to say about the whole car looking just like a Shelby but without the performance upgrades.

You can get the Wide Oval or Polyglas designs in radial tires. Many of the classic tire companies have them. I still have not made the move to get my 10 spokes and as they will be 15" I will need to get tires also. My last GT/CS had the 10 spokes and blackwalls. While not as "racy" I liked...

Looks like a nice one. I really like Meadowlark yellow. A week before I went off to college a 1,000 miles away, My dad bought a '69 Torino GT 2 Dr coupe in that color with black vinyl roof and interior. A very pretty car. Wish the seller had posted more pictures.

My car has one but it is not on the Marti. Guess that means it was purchased through the dealer or from a private party at some point. It works but have never had occasion to use it. Mine does not get driven in the rain and I am to old to be steamin up the windows!

Sold today for 43,260 which includes a $2,060 buyers fee. Sounds about right for a really nice driver with apparently, not to many expensive issues that a purist would want to correct.

Yes it could have been crashed and the hood was replaced also as there are no hood locks. If you get more pictures they may show the hood lock retainers on the radiator support. Or no trace that they were ever there. Also, could a production car not be built exactly as a prototype might have...

My console was complete except for the rubber cup inserts for the seat belt pockets. Paid $70 on eBay for a pair of used ones that were in good shape. So yeah, expensive.
