Did a direct bulb replacement with LEDs from http://www.superbrightleds.com/ Have been very happy with them. I think the info is in one of the earlier thread links posted. If not and someone needs info let me know.

I've had a Custom Autosound installed for a few years. Luckily I haven't had any problems. I use the line-in RCA jacks in the back to plug in an MP3 player or iPhone. My car came with a 67 installed. At some point considering having that 67 AM or a 68 version modified to internally be an AM/FM...

Sorry I didn't mean to cause confusion. We moved the coil mounting location because the Pertronix wouldn't fit in the original location. But we used the original clamp that was on the car when I got it. It's a 289 converted to a 4bbl. Marty, the 289 and 302 clamp is the same right ?

On the passenger side they seem to be but could be the angle of the picture. I regret the day I have to replace my stripes. Has to be a job that takes a lot of patience I'm sure.

Yes - had to be a 302 engine or larger for the GT package.

I had the same question as Cory. I didn't think you were looking for that specific car but an available HCS or GT/CS to purchase.

Was the vinyl top on the Branded Special original? That would have to be tough to replicate for a restore I bet.

Arlie, I have the same exact problem with my C-code with a Holley carb. Sometimes mine tends to improve as the car warms up, sometimes not. While cold I have to do the same thing at stop lights, etc (heel/toe brakes and gas to keep it running). Replaced the carb because the original one the...
