Hey Everyone! Sorry I know this post is about a month late ... Can't believe it's already been a month since the Carlisle Ford Nationals were held. The weather cooperated for the most part although there was some rain Thursday and Friday late in the afternoon. OK there was a lot...

    For Sale 1968 J-code 3-speed

I'm pretty sure this is my old CS. Looks like it has made it's way back to California. Met up with the person I purchased it from back in 2005 at Carlisle this weekend coincidentally. http://www.autabuy.com/Vehicles/Details.cfm?VID=424878&Year=1968&Make=FORD&Model=MUSTANG

    1968 California Special-GT option

That's true you had to get a 302 or larger engine to get the GT option. The GT option was not available with a 289 in 1968 (or a 6 cylinder for that matter). Also this was the case for all 1968 Mustangs, not just California Specials.

    . 2010 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals June 4-6

Had a great time in Carlisle this past weekend and got to meet up with a number of site members. I'll post a wrap-up thread later in the next day or so with pics. One quick note - this year's event shirt had a red 2011 GT/CS representing the Mustang. If anyone is interested it looks like...

Great seeing you too. Sorry we didn't get to spend time talking more. Hope you guys had a good trip back. Left early because of the rain forecast. Hit a bad pocket of rain/wind for 10 miles. Don't want to experience that again! Two hands and holding on tight during that time. Great weather the...

Steve, Not sure if you realize it but he's having an issue with Mustang Magazine - a new magazine started last year. Steve (gofastguy), If I see them at Carlisle I'll mention the issue to them - not sure if it will help but it can't hurt - they were here last year - that's when I signed...

    Mustang Magazine Consumer Alert

I've been receiving mine for almost a year now without any problems. Any chance someone is taking them from your mailbox or the mailman (or mailwoman) is reading them? It is a very good magazine as you stated. Good Luck!

1968 Correct AM Radio for 68

Prices vary from what I have seen online. This guy is supposed to be at Carlisle. http://www.mikehaganantiqueautoradio.com/ He does a rebuild (without the conversion) for $160 according to this page which isn't bad if you already have a chassis I think - there is a list of what is included...

1968 Correct AM Radio for 68

Thanks! I had a feeling this was the case. If I go the conversion route or decide to go back to the original radio may sell the 67 pick up a decent 68... Yeah Marty a number of 68 radios on ebay for around $50 or so .

1968 Correct AM Radio for 68

Hey Everyone, I'm pretty sure I know what the answer is going to be but I'm going to ask anyway. There was an AM radio in my car when I got it and I took it out, tested it and put it in a box and replaced it with an aftermarket. Was planning to take it to Carlisle next week and talk to...

    . 2010 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals June 4-6

Sounds like a good turnout this year... Maybe not of GT/CS and HCS cars but this was in an email HCSSTANG and I got from Carlisle yesterday... BREAKING NEWS! Event registration is up 30% and rising! In 2008, with high gas prices, there were over 2000 cars and more than half were Mustangs...
