    . 50th Anniversary Celebration

Hi, Don't think I missed it but didn't see any posts on registration opening up this week for the 50th anniversary celebration next year? Anyone planning on going? If I go it will be the Charlotte event. As much as I would want to take my CS, if I take a car it will probably be 96 GT...

    5.0 Magazine

If you see the 2005 Grabber Orange GT in this month's 5.0 magazine, that's my nephews car. Photoshoot was done at Ford Carlisle in 2011. He no longer owns the car but still pretty cool. Was neat to watch the photoshoot and curious to see how the actual spread came out.

    1968 dash pad reproduction

I have a repro dash pad in my CS. I agree the texture is different. It doesn't look too bad in my opinion but an original would be nice. My original was cracked pretty bad so I replaced it with a repro.

1968 Well, I just bought the "7 million in gold and 1 GT/CS" car

Good Luck with the car. Seems like you got a good deal regardless of what you may find condition wise. Seems like they have done a few things to the car over the years. Not only did they add the hood scoop and paint the rear panel, looks like they added an aftermarket stereo at some point...

. Drake Metal Shelby Taillamp Panel

Saw this posted on Twitter this morning by Mustangs Unlimited (@MustangsUNLTD). I wonder if this would be a direct replacement on a CS/HCS vs the cutting be mentions in the video. I assume this could be used a replacement on the 68 CS/HCS as well. http://youtu.be/tVSDSJswUD8

Ditto on what Neil said!! I had the pleasure to meet Bob at Carlisle a few years back! If I'm not mistaken this car was purchased by 68HCS289 back in 2011. She brought it to Carlisle back in 2011 right after purchasing it. Here is the original thread on this car...

    Salute to Sheriff John ...

Those numbers are probably close to where I am too Mike. I used to DJ pre-CDs so definitely a lot of vinyl. Even have some old 78 RPM albums and small records. Some colored yellow and orange that are from the original Mickey Mouse Club and other old time subjects. Like these...

    1968 New Matchbox model!

Well I have to confess, with the lack of time and the cost of gas, instead of running from store to store I took the eBay route. The prices aren't outrageous on them. When you factor it in it's not a bad deal. If you're not buying a large quantity this isn't a bad way to go. Right now on ebay...
