I've had this issue on previous Mustangs and the GT/CS. I've had great success with shooting some WD-40 into the socket (using the straw) and then working the spring by pushing on the contact plate with a screwdriver. Sometimes it takes more than one application, but it usually frees the...

I've seen them on eBay. Very nice. For some reason, in Canada, we don't always get the Matchbox GT/CS diecasts. I have the red, green and grey ones, as well as the 60th Anniv. white one. Haven't found any of the later ones that have come out.

I agree...EFI is fine for my 1990 5.0, but for my GT/CS only a carb will do. :cool:
