Car History
Yes the windshield vin matches, the door tag and the stamp in the shock tower. A good friend of mine found this car for a friend of his brothers in 1978. It was bought from Dallas Mustang then and he drove it to Washington DC. Where it sat in his shop until 93 or 94 when my friend bought it back. About a year later I traded a 87 Mustang gt for it.I have a pic of the car sitting next to my 70 shelby in 1994 in my friends garage. I then traded the car to my brother-in-law for him painting my shelby. My sister and brother in law moved back here 2 years ago and I bought the car back. So the last time the car was titled was 1978. I had a ford 999 report and a marti report for the car, but I have been looking for them since I posted the car on craigslist. With no luck.
Thats the history. I cannot remember the guys name in DC but his shop is called Get Started or might of been Get Racing.. I think.. They specialized in putting rover v8s in MGs. Mostly all British cars. And the guys name who foung the car in 1978 was Henry Jerrigan.
