1968 high country special. This is 1 of 251 ever made only one made with a console. This car has been in several magazines and has been featured in several museums. All original sheet metal and even has an original spare tire. As you can see in the pictures this car is in better shape than it was when it was new.

I've seen this car and met the owner. He was a member of our site and passed away some years ago.
Tom ????. He had also made wooden model watches commemorating GT/CS's. No doubt for sale by his son.

A super nice guy, and an immaculate HCS. Tom & his wife drove their HCS on vacation to NC and visited with me & Peggy. That's when he gifted me the handcrafted wooden watch.

I met Tom at an MCA national show, I was asked to judge his car. It is a beautiful concours restoration that he and his sone Keith did together. No surprise that it received a gold award on its first show. We also had a Candy Apple red 68 HCS at the time so Tom and I quickly became great friends. He gave me one of his beautiful watches as well. It's good to see the car again, I miss Tom.
