It kills me to have to post this but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. :undecided

I need to sell my 96 GT Convertible. I was hoping my nephew was going to buy it off me after graduating college but he decided to live in NYC - not the place for this car. Figured this was as good a place as any to pass the word.

The car is in Excellent like new condition.
I only drove it in the warmer months and has never been on the road in the Winter. It was stored before the first salt was dropped on the roads here to deal with the icy roads.
I was 32 when I bought this car new so it has been adult owned and driven responsibly, also a non-smoking car.
It has only seen rain less than 10 times. The day I picked it up it poured and then only if I got caught in an unexpected downpour - always got the top up in time though
It always been garaged or under a cover.

Ok so here are the specs on the car ...

1996 Mustang GT Convertible
Red with Black Top and Black Leather Interior
Has every available option except the change to the gears in the rear-end. Went for better gas mileage and less off the line power.

The car drives like it's brand new.

30,300 miles (looked at my inspection receipts from 2005-2006 and only drove 500 miles last year)

5 Speed
Air Conditioning
Leather Interior
Mach 460 Stereo with AM/FM/CD/Cassette
Power Locks
Power Windows
Power drivers seat
Power top with the original boot
Keyless Entry
ABS
17" Wheels
etc ....

Only non-stock items are Eibach Springs, Sequential Taillights and a K&N Filter
Includes a California Car Cover and a Colgan Custom 2-piece bra.

The negatives are a very minor wear spot on the front seat maybe 1/4" diameter and a slight scratch on the lower rear bumper that can probably be polished out and a slight scratch near the gas tank cover that looks like someone walked past it with keys or a pocket book while it was stored last winter. Can barely notice it if it's not pointed out but want to be honest with everyone.

Asking $12,900 to start.

Here are some pics too. If you're interested or know of anyone that's interested please let me know ... I'm going to really miss this car ...:embarass:
