2007 GT/CS starting to ship

Harrold Ford (Jan Howell) will be getting two new GT/CS Mustangs on June 24th, one red, one white.

Also-- get a 2007 Mustang Accessories Catalog. They offer a GT/California Special "kit" to dress up your Mustang. (but I know what makes up a real one already).

And (!!) If you see the July '06 issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, the editorial stomps on the new CS as "like a '76 Cobra II". How off is that? All CS cars have to be a V-8, and there are Champ series GT/CS cars racing...and..I'd pull off the SVT emblems if I had a new Shelby.

A response to the editor (Jim C.) is in the works...we need to educate others about what the GT/CS experience is all about new--and old!

p.s. see you at the picnic in August!

I know of a local man who just ordered a 2007 CS. I'll be interested to see it in person.

The name Harrold Ford sounds famillar to me somehow.. I believe that it's in Sacramento, CA..

It *is* in Sacramento, Marie. The 1968 Licence plate frames said... "Since 1911 " (on the top)
and "HARROLD FORD" (on the bottom)

The 3 big Ford agencies in Sacramento in '68 were Harrold Ford, Suburban Ford, and Downtown Ford...at least two of them still have the same name today...

Downtown Ford (Occasionally called Downtown Fraud by unhappy customers) always got the CHP contract, when Ford won it, and as a result the hastily repainted used Crown Victoria and 5.0 Mustang notchback cruisers would show up for sale then, I tested a couple of the 1991 ex CHP Crown Vics with the 351 carb. version back to back against the 1988 Crown Vic I owned then, and the 251 was DEFINATELY quicker. I'm sure the ex CHP Mustang 5.0 was no slouch either. The CHP Police Interceptor package came with the 140 mph speedometer, heavy duty transmission, shocks, springs, radiator, AT cooler, full size spare, etc., the "Police package"

I'm sure those new models will be spoken for pretty quick, so you'd better get in quick to have a look

Yeah, that what I thought that Harrold Ford is in Sacramento - I in fact seen the license plate holders that say since 1911 - Harrold Ford at the bottom.. I also remember those Commericals for Downtown Ford - when they were selling those retired old police vehicles - Buy the car that gave you a ticket.
