A 51K miles original car would be quite desirable but there are few odd things on this one;

Milleage advertised at 51000 original miles worries me. I guess he means 105,000 miles, not 51000, plus the last 2 digits ( 6 & 0 ) looks misaligned, this always worries me as to having been "possibly" played with

The front grille doesn't seems to have the Marchal lamp support, looks like a regular Mustang grille

Door Arm rest seems odd and rear inner quarter has armrests too with ashtray?

Dual exhaust on a C code

GT hubcaps in lieu of plain (even though looks nice, depends on originality level you look for)

Door rear gap on left side seems pretty wide

All dash bezel were repainted black.

One's should validate with a Marti report to check this is not a clone.

And what does this mean?

This spectacular motorcar only has 51,000 original miles and comes with nearly all Special Edition options.

It probably means that the hood to cowl seal is "nearly" attached. Wow, for this money do you think they could spare a couple of bucks for some plastic tabs.

WOW!!! Its what I used to call a blow-and-go special. Give it a shiny red color and an unsuspecting buyer would be dazzled and buy it on the spot. Lotsa questions come to mind, but in short, I'd take a pass on this one (MHO).

...I particularly like the black porcelain tires ;-))

'Grill is non-CS '68 as well. It would indeed be nice to see a Marti...

Wow, I hadn't noticed the mirrors. Why in the world would they install them there? I also like the hood turn signal wires that are painted red.

Has anyone contacted the seller? It would be interesting to see what the sellers response would be if we hit him with all the flaws we can see just from photos - I can only imagine that it would get worse to see the car.

No bids yet so that says a lot.

I just asked for Marti or other original doc.

As far as no bid yet, I can understand with the innacurate details. The price would look OK to me, if it was a true original 51K car. But with all the wrong details noted, I'm more leaning towards a clone or heavily rebuilt car. Why would one have to change so many details with a 51K miles car, everythimg should be still on and intact?

The VIN 8R01C171312 quoted is OK for the GT/CS period though.

Marti has been added to the listing, showing it as a true GT/CS.

I suggested them to revise the mileage number to read 105,000 miles instead of the 51000 miles (typo) since that makes a bit of difference.

I guess with 105,000 it may explains why many GT/CS items could have been replaced during a restoration due to factors like chrome pitting, etc.
