No mention and/or photos of frame, floorpans. Looks like more than I'd want to tackle overall. Too bad.

I just finished a car like this one and the more I uncovered the worse the rust was. I had Dustless Blasting come out and strip the car down to bare metal and boy did my restoration budget increase by 50% after they uncovered everything. Rear driver's side quarter replacement along with the trunk drop off and passenger side rear wheel lip replacement.

Torque boxes needed repair and when I removed what metal was left of the torque boxes I was able to see that the frame was also rusting away. A much bigger job than I had planned on. The salt had done a number on my original Nebraska car along with a previous accident that was covered up with a lot of bondo. I ended up replacing both front fenders, front valance, hood, rear deck lid and both doors. I was pleasantly surprised that the floors were solid which saved me some time and money.

Looking at the photos anyone who is interested in this car had better make a trip to Michigan and look at it in person. Put it up on a lift and really check it out. Unless you can do most of the repairs on your own you are looking at a very expensive repair job.

Cheers!

Ron
