1968 "C" retaining clips for hood locks

Where can you buy the "C" retaining clips that go on the hood lock posts and keep them from pulled out? I've lost one of them...

What I talking about is the little clip toward the lower right of this picture

Any simple tricks on how to put them on (this should be a one off)... or do I need to also buy the tool...

Snap-ring pliers are handy to have in any toolbox. You can swap out the tips easily and just throw a little lever to switch from external to internal clips.

It helps to have a couple different sizes on hand. You won't use them too terribly often, but "right tool for the right job" and all that.
