1968 Classic car insurance companies

I'm shopping around for classic car insurance for the GT/CS. Hargarty seems to be the "go to" company but I just found another company, JC Taylor (in PA), that insures classic/antique cars and they seem to be significantly cheaper. Any input on them as a provider?

I have no info on them, however, the latest issue of Mustang Monthly I noticed Grundy Ins has agreed value and unlimited mileage. Those are two big plus items you should look for in any company you choose.

I have my '51 Merc woodie insured with state farm. Since I have my daily drivers with them they gave me an awesome deal. State Farm has a special program just for specialty cars.

I have Grundy for both the GT/CS and the 69 Camaro. Used to have Hagerty but after they raised my rates even though I had no claims against them I dropped them.

I used to have JC Taylor. No claims, so I never had a problem.

Thanks for all the responses. I currently have a classic car "stated value" rider on my Farmers auto insurance policy but am just looking at other options/opinions right now... thanks again...

On Hagerty specifically. Note the definition of "stated value" vs "agreed value" (I was unaware of the difference). Checking JC Taylor website they also insure on agreed value.

I've had American Collectors Insurance since 2010 (pushed over from USAA, who doesn't do "classics" anymore). No problems. Only claim has been a tow.

Estimate/coverage was based on car (67 Fastback, 390) and condition. Don't think I got any credit for HCS.
