I'm a day late too! Wow! Thanks very much EVERYONE!!! I took myself to my place on Lake Havasu and scared everyone...no high heels, no dresses, no hair do's, no makeup (war paint) . The only thing I did was get up on the roof and fix a little damage from the monsoons. I took a couple of bales of hay and a 25 pound bag of carrots for the wild burros and fed bunnies and raccoons. I flopped around in the lake and put a new buoy in. Boated up to London Bridge and watched all the phonie people go by in the bigass boats, had pizza and got a sunburn. (My Indian name last week was Redneck Woman) I looked at a billion stars at night and heard the coyotes howl. I read magazines that I have had subscriptions to for a year and never opened them, I actually washed my truck so I could drive it back out a 7 mile long dirt road. I cleaned and swept and hosed everything down and had some new fangled drink with pomegranite liquor and Sprite. An eleven year old taught me how to play poker...well kinda,we played for M&M's. His mom fixed me an Oreo cake and I got a windsock in a huge Victoria's Secret bag...(okay our little store doesn't carry much and I had to give the bag back.) It's a pretty remote place, but worth it when you get there!
It took me 5 1/2 days to do all that and I took my time. No TV, no computer. I got cell phone calls from members of the site here and in order to get reception I gotta go race out in the desert (it was an average of 115) and I have to stand on a rock with my left hand in the air holding a wire hanger and my right foot pointed south, it really helps if you wear one of those triangle aluminum foil hats too. It was totally worth it!

Anyhow it was all good! I'm 53 and freeeeeeee! Oh. Maybe that didn't sound so good but it rhymed.
