We ended up with a 2nd place trophy for Restored Factory Production Muscle Car (65-69) - beaten out by a beautiful Boss 429 car from Alberta

(Northern Pony Bob, you may know the car, Jade Green and he has a couch made from the front end of a mustang)

Anyway, really happy with the result.

Thanks to all the people on this site who are always ready to chip in with advice and assistance.

Stangely enough, during the show I learnt that there are another 5 Cal Specials in the province of Saskatchewan, most of them right here in Saskatoon. Never seem to see them though?

Gary

Congratulations

That is great. You put a lot of hard work into that car and it paid off.

Gary;
Congratulations, and the car looks fantastic. You cannot feel bad loosing to that 429 Boss, you are in very elite competition here. I know the guy that did the Boss and he is a perfectionist in restorations. He has also beaten me at World of Wheels in Calgary. With the robust economy in Alberta and Saskatchewan, we have more GT/CS's arriving annually.
