Does anyone know of a good place to get body work done on my GT/CS in Wisconsin? I just bought the car from California and had it shipped out to Wisconsin. Can you believe that they damaged it? The shippers accidentally dropped the ramps down on the top of my CT/CS, Creasing the top and doing damage to the hood.
It is a J-Code 4-speed and WAS a really nice looking car!

This restoration shop is not in Wisconsin but in Illinois. I have read and cofirmed about their work on VMF. and in fact I will be sending them the 1967 fastback for restoration. The name of the shop is Mustang Restorations Inc. and they are in Dundee IL. The owners name is Chris and their work is show quality. Here is their website:www.mustangrestoration.net
Contact him and let us know how it goes. In their website you can see a red 1965-66 convertible that was almost totaled in an accident and he brought it back to better than new condition! You got a great car and should get the best repair possible.

That is terrible. The guys that transported mine broke the vent window (actually it was an attempted break-in on their property).

I know a guy in Twin Lakes, WI that does unbelievable work. I just had all my floor boards and rails done on my 66 convertible to show quality, and you cant tell the difference from the factory. I just got it back this week. He is very reasonable (like $30/hour) and does outstanding work. I can send you some pictures of work he did for me. If you want his number let me know - He can show you some work he did on his 67 fastback with a 429 in it (all the metal work he did himself from scratch). Casey
