Like the Shelby 10 spokes. Kinda looks like Neil's resteration from a few years back (minus the grill).

I wonder why they put the standard '68 grill trim on it.

I'm thinking of putting the Shelby wheels on my Black CS when its done.

Boy that black with gold strips and Shelby wheels sure is a killer combination! Now I want one too

The wheels look strange in that photo, almost out of round, like they were photoshopped, just my observation, probably just me....

Yes, it's an edited image. Tim apparently took a photo of his black car and a photo of a car with 10-spokes and merged the two. It's a difficult task because finding two car photos taken at the exact same angle is nearly impossible.

...Arlie is correct :) I simply took Neil's photo, isolated the wheel then grafted to this pic to give a quick illustration.

The second pic is a more dedicated goofiness ;-)

Tim you are amazing!! Can you graft a SOHC motor into a 63 Corvette split window? I have a few "cheby" buddies that I want to harass!!

I bleed Ford blue and one of my biggest pet peeves is a cheby motor in a Ford!

Back in the day when good heads were not plentiful, the small block cheby had a significant better head for power and they were plentiful.

But now a days, the playing field is level and there is no excuse to use cheby power. And I hate the built "Built Ford tough with cheby parts" saying.

I would love to chop up a split window and make it a real car!!!

My cheby buddies are getting Tim's picture!!! Thanks Tim!!!

As mentioned before it is interesting that this car has a pony grille. But I also now notice the dual exhaust with a "correct" GT rear valance which, to my understanding, was not available on 289 cars.

The GT valance with quad tips is one of the more common mods done to a non-GT GT/CS. Almost as common as replacing the plain hubcaps with the GT ones.

Yep. I do the GT valance on my CS's. And the GT hubcaps are popular, too.
I also modified a '68 convertible valance using '65 GT exhaust trim.
