Hello everyone,

First I want to wish Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Does anyone havea set of orig. or NOS twist locks that are in used condition you may have replaced during restoration you might want to part with? I'm looking to replace the ones on my Shelby, but don't want to go with a new set because they will look too pretty! They don't have to be perfect, I'd like to find a set with no pitting as mine are pretty bad.

Thanks in advance

Bish

There are a set of hood pins being sold on ebay. On this forum site, see left hand lower and you will see a set. Right now they are at $21 with 4 days left.

Good luck.

I was thinking about getting a spare set, but I'll sit this one out for you. Good luck.

I am the seller of the locks on E-bay, here is another picture. They got beat up from when the were removed and set on the ground 100,000 times, didn't want them to roll down the hood. I bought big stainless washers to match the existing washers, and mounted them on the underside of the hood, so the locks stay in the hood when undone.

Please bid smart, brand new set goes for $100.00, I am not looking to rip anyone off, just clean out my garage.

Jayscal,

Thanks for the pictures, I was hoping to find a forum member who had some as you can never be too sure when buying on ebay. I can tell yours were in just the condition I'm looking for.

It looks like you will do good on your auction. The price is getting up there, I'll most likely pass on that set as it apprears the price is going to get real close to a new set, good for you!
Sometimes I'm shocked at the prices ebay brings.

Take care.
