148 were sold (47 Auto, 101 Manual).

If we assume somewhere around a 60% survival rate you'd be looking at roughly 90 remaining.

You have a very rare car. Does it still have the 6 cylinder engine in it?

I think "old hiemers" is setting in for me. We used to be able to open and sort the registration. By VIN number and all the engine codes (t,c,j,s,r,x) were together as the first 4 digets "8R01" were the same. Can't figure our ho to do it anymore....

Rob..... I think....

Darn, used to use it a lot. I also sorted by consecutive unit number so it was quick to find a car that someone may have resgistered.

Jbart,
Not to change to a gas guzzler, but if you want any help when you build your Cleveland, I have owned a few and have worked with the external oiling tricks. Of course much of that was "back in the day" (mid 1970's) but the concept is the same.

Nothing like a new motor, all pretty, on an engine stand waiting to breath fire, to motivate one on their project! Have not seen a Cleveland powered GT/CS ever! Huge power, and with a 4 speed, huge fun!

Jbart,
Are you building a 351 Cleveland or trying to put Cleveland heads on a 302 or 351 Windsor. B & A was a company long gone now that made a conversion manifold to runiron Cleveland heads on a 302 or 351. This was long before the huge assortment of Windsor high performance heads. Actually Edelbrock is making this intake again.

http://www.themustangshop.com/clevor.cfm

But if your are just building a stock 352 Cleveland, there is a large assotment of intakes to fit the 4V heads and even a few to fit the 2V heads that make great power also.

Whatcha building?

no it's all cleveland 4v,

the funnel web is a manifold made in austalia for 4v and 2v heads. they run real nice.
the 4v ports are necked down for high rpms and better flow.

Any other questions Mark Holmes? I have a T-code GT/CS, but it had been changed over to a 289 before I bought it. There are very few T codes with their original 200 6 cyl in them yet.

Of the approximately 420 cars people have submitted on this site there are ten "T" code six cylinders. Here's the info on those:

http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T143039
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T149485
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T156287
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T158997
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T161977
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T162217
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T165711
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T165723
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T169935
http://californiaspecial.com/registry/view.php?vin=8R01T170791

I still have all the info that people have submitted. I just need to spend some time revamping the format. The data collection is no longer tied to the Registry and I don't want there to be any confusion that it is.

I would like to see you continue to let us register our cars on your site.

I totally agree and have every intention of doing this. It's just finding the method of doing this. I have a line on some software that looks like it will work. It's basically a photo gallery on steroids. People could enter all their specific info like VIN, engine, trans, color, etc. as well as photos. You'd then be able to search the database using any of those major criteria. I really like the fact that it incorporates photos as well as the hard data from the door tag. It becomes a much more engaging way of seeing other member's cars and comparing stats.
