1968 Langford Car Show today ...

[GT/CS S Code]

Several of our local Mustang club members (Vancouver Island Mustang Association) attended the Langford Car Show today including "Stangfan" and I. (We brought "The Twins" and showed them side by side ...) Here is the link to all of the photos that I shot there today ... but you'd better go and get a fresh cup of coffee first ... I shot 382 pictures in total!

Did you happen to see a red J code HCS with vinyl top there? Couple of years ago I sold my HCS to a nice woman named Gloria from way north of Vancouver. Her and her husband just completed a restoration on the car. She mentioned to me last week that they were going to trailer it to Langley for a Mustang Roundup.

Could be a triplet with your beautiful cars.

No HCS cars there. This show is mostly local cars from southern Vancouver Island.

Langford not Langley ...

This show was out in "Langford" which is a suburb municipality just outside of Victoria on Vancouver Island ... "Langley" is over on the BC mainland ...
Steve and I did talk to a young fellow at this show that just became the new owner of a car that has been in his family for a long time ... an Ivy Gold GT/CS! He says that he's "lurked" here on the site a bit, but will be joining officially shortly and will be asking for the odd bit of restoration advice regarding his new project ...

He certainly seemed to be enthusiastic about restoring his Dad's car.

I think he said the car was Lime Gold though. Or maybe I just heard him wrong. :wink:

My bad. Sorry. Looking at a map, I guess Langley is a bit of a drive and boat ride away.
