I'll look into some events and see what I can come up with. I live in New Hampshire, a couple of hours away from the NH/MA seacoast. I don't own a GT/CS but I do have a '68 GT coupe, J-code with C4, early San Jose build. It's a driver, needs paint, but I love to take it out.

August 24th (Sunday), they are having Ford/Lincoln Day at Larz Andersen Auto Museum in Brookline, MA (just outside Boston). It begins at 10am. I have been to the museum, it is absolutely beautiful there. Fron Salisbury, MA you could be there in just about an hour.
There are two cruise nights just a few miles from there on 8/9 and 8/23 which average about 300 cars. Their mega show was 7/26 which had over 700 cars. It is an old drive in restaurant with a large field in back. The New Hampshire Mustang Club is having an outing 8/17 about 15 miles from Salisbury at an outdoor park. Are you taking the car?
