Now that my HCS is back on the road again after doing a bunch of restoration work, I'm working with my agent to increase my insurance coverage. I'm guessing they'll need an appraisal, but for now I'm curious what everyone thinks about it's current value?

Recent work done:
  • Body work and paint (media blasted, painted original Highland Green)
  • New interior (seats, dash pad, instrument panels, carpet, headliner, steering wheel, door panels)
  • Rebuilt 289-2V and C4 transmission (numbers matching)
  • Rebuilt power steering system (pump, control valve, hoses)
  • Re-cored radiator and all new hoses
  • Rebuilt brakes (front discs, rear drums, power booster, master cylinder, all brake lines)
  • Rebuilt front suspension (all tie rods, ball joints, upper & lower control arms, all bushings, coil springs)
  • New front windshield and new weatherstripping/seals for all glass
There are some trim items still to be installed, so not shown in the photos (emblems, chrome windshield trim, rocker trim, drip rail trim, wheel covers, stripes & HCS decals). About the only major items that still need attention are the rear suspension and exhaust system.

$50K minimum. Have you considered Hagerty or Grundy? If you had to replace the car good luck finding one, and when you do find one it won't be inexpensive.

Thank you both.

Arlie, yes this will be through Hagerty with their "Guaranteed Value" (which is "agreed value" instead of "stated value")

I'd use Hagerty for my '72 Bronco too, except they won't accept it because I take it offroad.
