Hi all

I just bought a 1968 CS that has been in a "barn" for 35 years (dry stored) looks to be in nice shape though it is in about 1400 pcs.

I am a Mustang guy and also have a BOSS 302 so I know the cars pretty well.

I have not seen this but have seen several pics and it looks pretty good as long as the guy stays true to his word I will be running up with the trailer on Friday to pick her up.

I am pretty excited and any input on what I should be looking for would be great.

I am almost positive the car is correct but would love any input on what to look out for.

Thanks all!

Welcome to the site!
Looks like you have a barn-find and a project-car all rolled into one :thumb: ... we all will be eager to see any pics that you might be able to post, and you'll have plenty of help with our friends here to help steer you in the right direction  ... also, didja happen to see the Marti Report on this car to confirm its authenticity? ...

Welcome

Welcome to the site and Congrats. If it has been in the barn all those years, I would like to get it in the Registry. If you have a Marti report, Could you send it to me for the Registry? Once you take possession, you will be hooked. This is the place to be for all the help you will need. Where are you located? Mike, your friendly neighborhood Registrar.

The first test to see if a car is a real GT/CS is to make sure that the VIN starts with 8R01 and the last 6 numbers are between 130000 and 175000.
