Is there a place to get actual paint chips for the different colors of GT/CS's? Did Ford produce anything like that?

All paint manufacturers back then had binders with paint chips (phtographs) of each color. They show up on eBay from time to time. I've never seen any books with actual paint chips but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Ford put out this 8.5 x 11 brochure in 1968. It has actual paint chips.

I'm curious how those colors have held up on the paper over the years. have you ever compared a original paint car to the chips and if you have did they match?

Paul,

I have several I bought from somewhere. If you want one, I'd let you have it for $10. They are actual paint chips, not pictures of paint chips. There is also information on the back about interior colors for all Ford products.

Jason,

I guess the colors match pretty well. The chips have probably weathered better than the cars.

Let me know Paul.

Scott and Danny

Sorry about that, fell a sleep at the wheel I guess. Go ahead and send to Danny. Thanks for the offer Scott. Once again, sorry for not responding back sooner.

Paul;
I was able to pick-up a brochure this past week on ebay which contains paint chips and interior color combinations for $10.00. It was for a company called Rinshed-Mason Products, Interchemical Corp, Finishes division out of Detroit Michigan and Anaheim California. I'll take some pictures of it and post here.
It is titled - 1968 Ford Corporation Colors

It covers the Ford, Fairlane, Falcon, Mustang, Mercury, Comet, Cougar, Thunderbird and Lincoln. It's pretty extensive.
