I recieved some 1969 bucket seats from a member here. I want to put them in my car. The problem is there wasn't parchment interior in 69. Where do I get the material to do the headrest?

NPD has '68 parchment headrest covers on page 14, top left, of their catalog. Don't know if they will fit on '69 headrests, though.

IIRC '68 & '69 headrests are different shapes (aside from the different guides).
I would suggest covering the '68 seats with the parchment material, and then DYE the '69 headrests to match using the '68 parchment vinyl dye.
I have used NPD's SEM brand for dying vinyl materials with excellent results.

I put 69 buckets in one of my 68's years ago, the upholsterer was able to make the 68 head rest covers fit the 69 head rests, and he had to change the 69 seat buns to fit the 68 upholstery.

Finding used 1969 headrests in a light color should not be a problem. I would spray them with vinyl paint, rather than recover them.
The piping and tightness of the reupholstered ones never looks right to me on any 1969.

BoB;
My parts list indicates '68 buckets & '69 lowback seats with the same P/N for cushions.

TMI should make them, or can as a special order.

Cushions are not the same due the '68's being two post and the '69 single post. They were cut differently to accomodate...

You can pretty easily adapt the '68 set back to take a '69 headrest, the 69 rests are reproduced and of pretty good quality if you are not after 100% "correct", and the original 68's are really hard to find...

Got with Cindy from TMI and she is going to send me some parchment samples to see if they match my interior. She said they would make them. If not I may have to change the seat covers to TMI. My console came from Classic Consoles and it matches perfect.
