I need a few things for my new CS. I'm going to pull out Paul's books for reference as well but I have a few questions I wanted to ask.

Lucas Fog Light posts - is Bob Teets still the contact for those?

Rear Deck Lid (trunk) Weatherstripping -
what should I be ordering for this?
Is it the same as the Shelby one?
Any recommendations on where to purchase?

I think I had 1 or 2 questions in addition to these but I need to go back to my list later. Thanks in advance.

Rich, I still have the Lucas lamp mounting kits. For the trunk rubber, I would not even buy NOS even if it was to be found but go with FRESH repo rubber that most Mustang venders have in stock. hicountry Bob here.

The open end of the weatherstripping goes towards the inside of the trunk. I goofed and got mine on backwards. I agree with Bob about fresh stripping

Thanks guys!!
Bob,
I'll PM you for more info.

For the weather stripping. I'm not ordering the regular coupe rubber right?
Is it the Shelby Convertible stripping I should be ordering?

Or is it specific to the CS?

I have to still check Paul's book and my catalogs. Sorry didn't get to that section yet

I ordered my weatherstipping from Branda. That is also where I bought my decklid so they knew what I needed. I am assuming you are speaking of the weatherstipping used to seal the deck lid instead of the small pieces that protect the decklid spoiler from the rear fender extensions (right??)

Yes, the strip that goes all the way around and it attached to the trunk lid. According to Paul's 89 book it says "the trunk weatherstrip can be replaced with standard '68 Mustang trunk lid type".

I didn't think that was the case. The prior owner actually took off the one on the car because it wasn't correct and wasn't sitting right I suppose.

Right. That is the one I bought from Branda.

By the way, I should post this on the restoration site but when we restored our car and fitted the decklid, it fit great. Then we added the weather stripping and it looked terrible. It did not seem that I could adjust the decklid enough to compensate for the new weather strip.

Rich - my bet is that when you replace yours, you will notice the same thing. The adjustment is in the hinges and the decklid latch to try to pull it down tight to the car.

This is exactly what happened when we put the weather striping on my car.

If you put the weatherstrip on in the fall before you store it for the winter (for us frozen northerners anyway) the weatherstrip will compress and look just fine by spring.
