Thunder in the Desert this weekend

Who will be Thunder in the Desert show hosted by Copperstate Mustangs in Chandler Arizona this weekend?

I am driving from So Cal for this show.

I've got a pretty full weekend, but am planning on stopping by. I'm a little confused though about what day the actual show is for spectators. Is it Sat or Sun? The text on the Copper State Mustangs web site says the show is Sat, but the PDF brochure says it's Sun from 8AM to 2PM.

Is the show itself on both days?

The way I am reading the flyer, the show registration is Fri 8-5 and Sat 8-11 with judging Sat 12-5 and show Sun 8-2 with judging sun 8-12, if required.....so yes I am also onclear as to what is really happening

We will be there withour 66 HCS, convert - Columbine blue.

I am also confused by the show hours. I guess its on Sat 12 to 5PM, and again on Sunday 8AM to 2 PM.

I went by early this morning to see if I could still register and was blessed with getting a spot in the People's Choice section. Stop by I'll be there early Sat. am, they start up a little before 8 am. Looks like a great show.

I'll be doing a lot more cleaning tonight into the early morning and then a couple of hours of sleep to hold me over.

Russ, here is a shout out to you, it was nice to meet you and talk to you about our cars early this morning.

Also for those of you coming into Phoenix, heads up they now have speeding cameras installed along I-10, from the 51 interchange to the loop 101 on the west side. The loop 101 has had cameras in the Scottsdale area, and now they are installed in sets of 3 on the North section of 101 and the west section. So heads up, do the speed limit it's not worth getting points and a fine, at least until you know where the cameras are...

We will have to leave in mid afternoon as my daughter has an event at her school.

Just got back. Great show! I had a chance to catch up with CALIF GIRL and meet Russ & 66hcs-conv for the first time. All 3 had very different cars, but all in great shape. CALIF GIRL with her red GT/CS (looking great after the post-fire repaint) ... Russ with his '73 351 CJ convertible in excellent shape and a great story behind it... and 66hcs-conv with his very rare '66 HCS convertible. Wow that Columbine Blue looks good.
