1968 To paint or not to paint....

Engine is coming back together, bodywork is pretty much done and its getting primer next week...

Engine is repainted, manifolds blasted and hit with Cast Blast as they were just too grotty to clean. Some parts are just cleaned as I am trying to go too far overboard with the "repaint".

The PS pump cleaned up pretty well, needs a bit more TLC. And I am debating paint or not. I can color match and repaint for about $100, but it appears to be a fairly untouched PS pump, so as "its only original once". the only bummer is a couple big scratches and rust right up top. I kinda like all the runs and how it looks, but am thinking it may look out of place against the newly painted engine bay and block....

Comments, suggestions as I keep waffling...

I know what you mean, I am trying not restore my current project but it tough to mix the look of what you have had to repair and the unrestored. It looks to me you car is going to look mostly restored so I would repaint provided you can match that color. That is a nice original, note the lack of paint where the dip stick cap covered the neck showing that the dip stick was in place during painting.
Keep up the good work it is looking great.
