Trunk Switch

Does anyone have any ideas as to the purpose of this switch? Could it be for the trunk light that the car doesn't seem to have?

that is not factory installed whatever it is. Does it connect to anything?

There must have been an alarm on your car at one time. That's what that switch is for. I've got them on my GT Coupe.

that is a trigger switch for a car alarm looks like its had its day in the sun they usauly dont work after a few years from rust not factory

I've seen that same thing on a GTCS i ran into before. Could it be factory?
