Wanted Wanted 1968 rear defogger switch

Okay guys I need some help I'm trying to locate this rear defogger switch for my 1968 Mustang GT CS.. get any help or any leads to find in this which would be appreciated

Defogger

That's only part of it I need the switch the knob and the bracket

I think the fog light bracket is identical.

No the brackets are different the one for the defogger is a lot smaller..... I believe the bracket for the defogger is the same bracket for a convertible top switch for a 1968 Mustang convertible

My car had both the fog and the defogger switch and option. I will see it this weekend. As I remember they were very similar. In fact, I replaced the fog light switch and the new owner still has the original fog light switch.

The brackets may have changed through the years, here is what the defogger bracket looks like that I have (not yet installed), not the same as the convertible top bracket. This may be from later years and not from '68, the blower/housing/grates all stayed the same but the brackets may have changed with updated dashes.

If anyone can find a part number for the bracket, the convertible top bracket part number is C8ZA-19417-B for comparison.

Where is the defogger switch mounted?

Where is the defogger switch mounted?

Mine is mounted immediately to the right of the fog light switch. It is the same one that West Coast Classic Cougar has.

The dash has the two holes for it. One for the bolt and the other one for the tab that keeps the bracket straight.
