We read these threads and sometimes have no idea who you are. How about posting pictures of yourself with your favorite GT/CS or HCS so we can put a face with a name. Kind of a Family Album so to speak.

I don't have any of me with any of my cars, but here's one of my favorite pics with my son. This pic was taken 5 years ago. He's now 6'3" tall.

Here is me and my lil family (new addition coming soon in April, a little girl :cheesy:) Anyway, I'm Joe, 26 years old born and raised in Colorado, been into Mustangs my whole life. I am fire inspector/life safety installer, and went to college for architectural concept and design.I have owned several Mustangs; 94' GT, 67' GTA, 68' Cal spec (current) 89' GT rag top, and a 71' Mach 1. My fiance Leslie, and my awesome son Evan are in these pics as are of me, and pictures of Leslie and I in steamboat this year. I had a picture of her and Bob standing next to his CJ HCS but cant find it in my computer.

I have known Bob (as I have said before) for my entire life, I even remember the day his son Scott found his 'R' code HCS down in Englewood and remember his restoration on it, this very car is what spiked my interest in GT/CS's and HCS's. He was/has been friends with my step-dad 30+ years, and have learned most of what I know from them both.
There has been several trips to Steamboat Springs with Bob, and even several times auto- crossing in his CJ HCS :icon_lol:. I attend several Mustang events throughout the year, and am planning my trip for Mustangs 50th here in a year.
Cheers

No one is allowed to take my picture so this is as close as I can find.
And sadly for the guy on the magazine cover he looks exactly like me 20 years ago when I had hair. It's spooky!

You won't see many pix of me since I am a wanted felon! But here are a few rare ones. The beautiful lady in this first pic is my wife Keli. We have been married for 27 years. No kids, but a couple of Great Danes keep us on our toes. Keli is a 911 Dispatcher here in St. Joseph County, and I am a machinist here at the local paper mill. I also work for a restoration shop that specializes in restoring classic cars.
We love attending the local car shows, cruise-ins, and touring on our Harleys.
Due to the hard economic times and a 3 year battle with cancer, we have had to sell all of our cars except for the red C code cali. But with that being said, we are happy, healthy, and loving life out here in the corn fields of West Michigan.

...My involvement with Mustangs began in 1976, but my first GT/CS was a radical S-code, whose heritage I didn't understand in 1978. I sold it in the early '80s (now "somethingspecial") and have owned numerous others as daily drivers during my (33-yr) career as a machine builder and while raising a family.

I acquired my second (black) GT/CS in 2005 and at Mike Jewell's urging, joined this group with the appropriate name "Midnight Special". Active fellowship and new friends led to the purchase of five additional GT/CSs over the next four years!

My main reason in having so many was to drive them socially while expanding those youthful "cruising and wrenching" years with my sons, Thomas and TJ. That expansion went well beyond to include some of the best years of my life that would take eons to type, but could largely be found within these forums :)

We're not into restoration mind you, as maintaining and driving them all is time consuming enough!

Numerous other Mustangs were also added to the collection (as well as four owned by TJ and one by Thomas), but to make a long story short, it will continue to be a significant and valued experience for the rest of my time. I thank many of you here for that! :)

Respectfully,

Wow, just wanted to get some pictures. Who knew it would turn into a Bio thread. LOL. Well, I am 48 years old and have been married to Robinette for 28 years. We have two wonderful adult daughters, Amber and Marissa. I just retired from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Dept. after 21 years of chasing bad guys and helping the innocent. My wife is a 911 Dispatcher for the California Highway Patrol.

Always growing up a Chevy guy, I had a 1965 Impala SS with a big block and 4 speed. That got me into the BB/4spd frame of mind. I met Tim (Midnight Special) while in High School and he had, still has, a 69’ Mach 1, which was my first intro into the Mustang world. Tim told me about a GT/CS (what the hell is a GT/CS) that had a 390/4spd speed he had to sell to pay for his Mach 1. Peaking my interest, I pursued the car and acquired it in 1983. The rest of that story is a five page saga.

After 30 years of researching this unique car, and the retirement of the former Registrar, I assumed the Registrar Position and thanks to everyone here, especially Arlie, Bob and Jon, I enjoy logging on here everyday to find yet another GT/CS or HCS. My wife and I currently have two GT/CS Mustangs, The S code/4spd (Trailer Queen), and a C code/4spd we enjoy driving.

Some of our GT/CS photos ...

Laurie and have been married for just short of 14 years now, and since my '65 Fastback was (and still is!) in a million pieces when we got married my best friend Terry loaned me his '68 GT/CS 390 4 speed "S" code Mustang to use as our official wedding car. (The picture of Laurie and I with the car under the tree is taken on the exact spot that we were married in July of 1999 by the way.) Terry got the Mustang "bug" while we were working on my '65 Fastback in his home workshop, so we went out looking together and found him this local area GT/CS so he could have a unique (and very fast!) Mustang of his own. When Terry took sick with cancer in 2007 he sold me the GT/CS before he passed away and it has been a much treasured and very sentimental reminder of him ever since.
Since then we've shown the car at numerous local shows, driven it up to Kamloops for their "Hot Nights" cruise & car show (the photo taken with Laurie and I and her cousin Ken with his wife Sheila in their driveway). Our GT/CS has also been used to chauffeur my mother-in-law Iris at our local Mustang club's Toy Run when she was out to visit from Winnipeg one year, and I also used it to drive local area radio celebrity "Red Robinson" to a Victoria music awards banquet when he needed to be picked up at our local heliport.
Laurie has two adult daughters, which are my step-daughters Alison (with grandsons Adam 22 & John 14) and Cheryl (with our grand-daughters Sophie 6 and Julianne 4).
Laurie will now be retiring on December 28th (yes, in just a FEW more days!) after nearly 33 years of working for the British Columbia Crown Council's office. I have been retired since July of 2011 after spending 38 years in retail sporting goods sales. So starting in 2013 we'll finally have enough time together to go travelling a little bit, to go and visit with our extended (and well spread out) family, and to finally finish putting together my '65 Mustang Fastback / GT350 Shelby clone, plus put the final finishing touches on our '68 GT/CS! We'll be able to make even more car related events with both Mustangs then, but will likely have to flip a coin to see who gets to drive which Mustang!
Just yesterday I finally applied for the building permits to construct our new 2 car garage, since our old, attached, single car garage is FAR too small to house the one Mustang that is currently road worthy ... the GT/CS!
