...Li'l sad it didn't make at least $35K which is what I gave for mine less than a year ago. "Bluestang's" is in better shape than mine was too! No regrets tho... They just don't come available very often. We sure enjoy the drive )
All big block 4 speed cars (390 "S" and 428 "R") came with the 8000 rpm tach as standard equipment. The oil pressure and alternator gauges became warning lights at the bottom of the tach. I'm supprised this car didn't reach reserve. I know I sure wouldn't part with mine for any less than $35,000 minimum.
The Shelby's had a similar cluster (w/ 140MPH speedo) but had guages in the console to offset the warning lights for oil pressure, etc. Was anything done for oil pressure on the non Shelby cars with tach's? Seems dangerous not having an oil pressure gauge.
