  • Dennis, I will update my registry as you wish, but I can not update the online Registry. Jon Hanna, Admin, is the only one who can do that. You might contact him for the updates. Are you coming to Concord in June? Hope to meet you in person. Mike
    Hello Mike,

I would like to update the registry for my 1968 GTCS vin #8R01C143520. I purchased the car from Linda Van Ness in 2009 and would like change her name. I'm on the forum as Wild Willie. Linda gave me all the paperwork she had on the car and I still have it all. I have since also obtained a Marti Report for the car and did submit on the CS.com website in the past. Please advise on how best to proceed.

    Thanks,
    Dennis Willie

Hello Mr. Davey, I will change the ownership in my Registry. I can not make changes to the online Registry. Jon Hanna must do that on his end. You can contact him by sending a message to Admin. You have one very nice car. Mike
    Hi Mike

I purchased Doug Courtenay's red GT/CS 390 last April and would like the ownership to change to me. I'm on the forum as Bumblebee. Please tell me if I need to supply more information. I live in Sydney Australia and the car registration is now CS390.

    Cheers Les Davey

Retroman99, The grilles are made of aluminum. I tried to solder them before with poor results. I was going to try JB Weld, but have not tried it yet. I think it will work. I was going to build the back side up with the goo and when it hardened, file it down so it looked good from the front. Be sure you leave some build-up on the back side for strength. As far as straigtening, lay the grille face down on a flat surface and using a rubber or plastic mallet, gentley tap the grille flat. Be careful when straightening each bar if they are bent up or down, you don't want to break any more. If you need more advise, feel free to contact me. Mike
Mike, Neil mentioned you might have some insite into how to perform minor repairs to the front Grill. a few of the grids need to be soldered or brazed or something back together and also i need to do a little what i would call minor check and straighten. can that be done at room temperature
    Mike,
The Registry looks great! Finally a searchable database. Now I can do some checking around and compare.

It does appear that my car is in registry 2 times. Maybe I fat fingered it years ago and left off the digit 1? That appears to be the case.

    Thank you,
    Robert
Bruce, If you are filling out the Online Information, Jon Hanna is who you want to contact. I will include the info in my hard copy Registry. Thanks. Mike

Yes, I am on board with the POW WOW, We are trying to make it happen at the show!!!!, Still trying to to work out the details so that is why we haven't said anything yet. Trying to do like we did at SAAC 35. Mike
Mike, CARE package came Sat PM, thanks and, lo and behold, Shirley was dusting etc our night stand in the main bedroom yesterday and what did she find but THAT missing July check, stamped and ready to be mailed to you, well after she paid $35 to stop payment. Can't win for losing sometimes, huh????? PS. got the brakes done on PN's car, and, man, it stops on a dime and gives me change. Hey, are you with the apparent pow wow at midnight special's place ???? Bob here.
    Hi,

Saw you may be reproducing CS grilles. Interested in if they are available and if so, how much?

    Richard
Yes it may have been a factory mistake or somthing that happpened in one of the other restotations. If you see or hear of some lucas fog light lenses for sale let me know. Thanks Marty
Happy New Years to you Marty, To answer you question, NO. None of my other cars have that hole contrary to what I thought in Park City. I do know the wiring harness had that clip wrapped into it right where the hole is. ?????????? Could this have been an ooops at the factory and a factory worker added the clip to fill the hole? Mike
