    A Unique GT/CS Tribute

I like it. I'd be interested to see how the top mounts, and whether it marks up the paint in the rear. Steve

    1968 Lucas Light Markings

I just went out and looked at mine, on my 52K mile car. Neither has an "A" or SF 517, and both have just "England" at the bottom. It's hard to tell, but it looks like there is a 3 or 8 above the FT8 on the left side. My car was built in May, if it makes a difference. Steve

    1968 Schematic anomoly

I seem to recall extra wires when I put in my switch as well. I think they're for the tilt away feature. Steve

    1968 Rear seatbak Gap-osis

They didn't give you a back frame for a convertible did they? I don't know how much narrower they are, but have heard they are narrower. Is there enough material in the back where they hog ringed it to just loosen the sides and slip some foam in? Steve

    1968 Hood locks question

It's the large flat "washer" that sits on top of the hood, between the hood pin and the hood, so the spring doesn't dig in to your paint. I believe that it comes with the hood pin assy, but I've never had to buy one, so can't say for sure. Steve

1968 Reserved spot with my body guy

I made my original parts fit correctly, before I knew they weren't supposed to. Arlie and I talked about it when he was up here last, and we decided it's ok to have it fit right. Steve

    1968 GT/CS Stripes - reflective or no?

Stock '68 stripes are non-reflective. There are places you can get reflective ones from if you chose. Steve

    1968 headlight issues...

I guess I'm surprised that a '69 switch would have a higher amp rating because it's "4 headlights". The 2 headlight system has 2 elements in each bulb. With 4 headlights, you just move 1 element to it's own housing, but the element itself stays the same. It might just be a case of variances in...

1968 Weekend Mustang Fun in Grass Valley!...

Let me know when, and as long as I don't have a float scheduled, I'll be there. I might even be able to drag Deb along as long as we don't have to drive Hwy 1! Steve

That thought has crossed my mind more than once, but I don't know how a boy from Idaho would fare in California. Steve

For Sale 1966 HCS convertible - Timberline Green

Looks like a project that someone lost interest in. That's a good deal if all the hard work (rust and body work) is complete. Steve
