    1968 Power Steering

I am pretty sure. Is the A/C shive the most forward of the three? If so I am sure it will work. Steven may have a 2 shive pulley already. I think I have the pump and all the brackets. Wow, I just priced a steering box for the 1966 I am working on..... $550 buckalero's!! Rob

For Sale One owner GTCS in Los Angeles on ebay

I always find the GT/CS cars with Marti reports that are blank in the "order received" category to be very interesting. Especially, when the rest of the build dates predate the debut of the GT/CS Mustang in California. This means the Mustang was "decided" to be a GT/CS and not ordered by a...

    1968 Power Steering

I will need to round up the parts. Steering box is very heavy and will cost a bit to ship. I have some of the large parts, but you may need some small items to complete. I do not have the control valve, but may be able to come up with a rebuildable one. Where are you located? Rob

A couple of recent visitors to the "clinic" for carb and tuning issues. First car is a 2 door 1965 Rambler with a 287 V8, 4 barrel, and dual exhaust. Owned a driven by a 91 year old world War II veteran! As you may have guessed all his work was free. I was honored to help him! He acts and...

    1968 Power Steering

Steve, That car deserves to more stock than modified. I think I would go with the original Ford system on her, unless you really like to corner hard! I do have access to an original pump, brackets, and a 1967 PS steering box that is freshly rebuilt. I rebuild them. Rob

    1968 Power Steering

I am a tasteful (maybe not) modifier!! I think the benefits of a rack and pinion are more for bar talk than actual performance. The outlier would be a serious road racer. That said I have installed a few Borgeson conversions and love them for their simplicity of the system. They do not need...

    1968 Vanishing tires

The 16, 17, and 18 inch tire selection is way better than 15's. 14's are becoming very thin for any tire. I personally do not like anything bigger than a 16 on a 1st generation Mustang, but that is me. 16 inch tires have a nice selection of widths and aspect ratio's. Not to mention stickier...
