For Sale Red GT/CS in Muskegon

Stephen, The change over date is not a hard line in the sand. The 15th is a soft date and more than a few examples may have been built with or without the recessed reflectors during this month. I would submit that the stock of quarters may have had a few recessed reflector quarters in the pile...

    1968 Winter storage advice

I would keep it in you garage and sweep out the water. Get a large box fan and let it circulate the air when the floor was wet. I would leave it on all night. You guys have a dry climate so the humidity is very low. Your daily driver will like the extra care and company!! Rob And it is...

Mike/Arlie, Another 1968 GT/CS popped upped in my neighborhood. It is a one owner car from mother to son now. Please ensure it is the real deal, but I am 99.9% sure it is. Still has the Marchal's on it. I checked the master list and it is not there. It is in great original condition and my...

    1968 "Idle hands...."

Lets see. First a set of E Street Edelbrock aluminum heads. Second a Comp Cam kit in a hydraulic roller to keep the vacuum up for you engine. A set of 10.5 or 11.0 pistons matched to the E Street combustion chambers. A set of long tube headers from Stan Johnson of Ford Powertrain...

    1968 390 FI Heads?

Edward, I would submit that your exhaust manifolds are the same as a GT-390 exhaust manifolds. They are the only manifolds other than a 428 Cobra Jet manifold that will fit in the 1968 Mustang shock tower. But if they are different, then I would love a picture of them. Rob

    1968 390 FI Heads?

And Arlie is correct. After reviewing these numbers the term FT is used and they seem to be Truck engines sizes. Rob

    1968 390 FI Heads?

According to my Ford Muscle Parts Identifier book that was published in 1992, the C6AE-U is a 1966 390 GT head. The C7A3-A is more than likely a C7AE-A and is a 428 GT-500 head. Both are identical in valve size and combustion chamber size and were drilled for the GT-390 unique exhaust pattern...

    1968 390 FI Heads?

I have never heard of FT or FI in association with the FE series of big block Ford engines. I have heard of both "Ford Edsel" and "Ford Engine" as to what FE means. The corporate knowledge on FE motors is fast disappearing. Get the cast numbers off the heads. They are between the center...

    1968 Winter storage advice

An uninsulated metal building can be susceptible to condensation an sweating. This means drips on your car. The lists above look good, but I would always used a fuel stabilizer and even but Heet moisture absorber in your fuel. If possible you may have a fuel outlet with non-ethanol fuel...
