AHHHHH HAAAAA this means there was one 428 CS with a 4 speed, the missing one. Check my thread on the engine/transmissions on the top of the discussion forum. We have 4 listed 4 speed HCS's 428's so the 5th one is a CS! (I am updating the other thread about this, have to ask Mr. Admin to do it).

somewhat false statement. there are documented 4 speed HCS's and 68.5 Cobra Jets (I have one). There is one 428 CS out there and we are not sure if it is a 4 speed or auto.

68's don't. maybe the earlier years have the vin showing on the fender.

that looks like a service replacement part. I have talked to a few people who specialize on originality and a couple have stated the caution stickers were not on the shrouds. Also the perfect throughbred in that article does not show one. It has to be right to be a throughbred and get a gold...

also, keep in mind not all cars get into the BJ auction. They choose what they want to sell. I would say a great write up and LOTS of pictures on Ebay would be a decent way to go. Put a reserve on it that you feel comfortable with.

I know for sure the company that went out of business was having problems with their batteries. I had 3 of them and one went bad after 3 months (after they closed). I do have one from the other company, no problems so far. All are the non sealed fill them up yourself variety.
