The carb doc is in the house. I bet they will run great before they leave. It looks like some of them run so well when they leave they can not help but leave rubber on the floor! Marty

1968 A much needed wonderful relaxing drive

Certainly every car does not need to be a concours car. To get that extra 5-10% of detail the cost is 50% more than a regular restoration. Most people will get the most satisfaction from a restoration such as Neil does. They are beautiful dependable and most importantly a blast to drive! I am a...

    1968 New family project

Mike yes I found a good sample of the original color in the tunnel. The color in that picture is off a but due to the florescent lighting. The car is great incentive for dad to do his rehab.

1968 A much needed wonderful relaxing drive

Mike I think you have found the recipe that I have used for years with our trailer cars. I try to pick a clean lightly traveled road at least every other month or more if the weather if nice. That keeps every thing in working order and you aware if there is something that is not. There is...

    1968 New family project

The HCS is almost ready for paint but last week dad needed emergency heart by pass surgery. He is doing well and wanting to get back to the shop. Mom and I are trying to keep him resting for a few weeks. He has a lot of time to read and discovered that there were only 18 HCS that were GT's. Of...

    1967 GTA C code

There was some discussion on a thread in the classifieds about whether there was a 2V 67 GT/ GTA. Yes there was 67 was the only year that a 2V small block could qualify for the GT option. In 68 the 390 2V X code was also allowed GT status. Here is a picture of out 67 C code GTA convertible. Marty

Great story, it will be a day that your son will never forget and those are priceless. This was a picture of my son's newly restored 68 eleven years ago. Boy was he proud and did not mind the girls hanging around either. Marty

For Sale Highly Optioned J Code in need of restoration

Sadly this hobby is not affordable for most kids and a large number of adults. The paint and body work on our latest project will cost more than a base 2015 Mustang. Give that choice most would choose the new car with warrantee. Marty

    For Sale Opinions???

I have restored a lot of Mustangs and as said above they all have their own problems. I agree you should get several estimate's and possibly have some on from here have a look at it. Sadly there are a lot of shops that will just take your money. Best of luck go slowly with you decision. Marty

    1968 Air conditioning idlers

Steve those are the correct early 68 pulleys. There are no after market replacements that I know of. I would just have new bearing pressed in to them. West Coast Classic Cougar does it. Give Scott a call. Marty

    1968 HCS shirts

Ron, We are working on pricing that is dependent on numbers. I thought too it would be cool to have different colors of cars. It would be pricy as they would nearly be one offs but I will get a price. We hope to have some for sale at the Loveland CO MCA national / GTCS & HCS reunion July...
